BEDFORD CANCER FOUNDATION

The Bedford Cancer Foundation was founded in 2009 when a group of friends saw a need to help a friend fighting cancer. Since 2009, the foundation has given over 500,000 to local Bedford County Residence fighting cancer. The money raised through our fundraisers and donations stays local to Bedford County, TN.

The foundation is governed by a board of directors and a set of officers with a wide range of experiences and expertise. There are no salaried employees and all efforts and resources are either volunteered and donated.

Our History

The Bedford Cancer Foundation was founded in late 2009 with one goal in mind: to be good neighbors to families in the Bedford County community who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis and undergoing treatment. The hope is that no one in Bedford County walk the journey alone. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of people with a variety of experiences and expertise. There are no salaried employees and all efforts and resources are volunteered.

 

Our Mission

The Bedford Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help alleviate the financial burden of cancer for eligible patients. Assistance is usually a monetary gift to help with day to day expenses.

 

Our Vision

When someone is diagnosed with cancer, both the patient and family may suffer from the financial stress of cancer treatment. Our goal is to eradicate the financial hardship associated with a cancer diagnosis for all of Bedford County, TN.
